Giclée Print
A Giclée Print (also known as a Mixed Media Canvas Print) is a high end reproduction of an original printing, often limited to a certain number of prints.
Based on a high resolution photography or image scan of the original printing, the reproduction is printed on quality canvas using an Epson large format printer and archival ink, then UV-heat-press laminated and then stretched. This seals the canvas prior to the hand detailing. Next, the canvas print is enhanced and detailed by the artist with hand-painted accentuations. A final original signature by the artist and a protective Varnish Seal finishes the high-quality reproduction; ensuring maximum longevity for the Giclée Print.
All canvases are handled and prepared by Andy, maintaining the integrity of the Anissimoff Fine Art image.
Custom sizes available up to 42x84 inches. Larger sizes available with a split canvas design. The price for a Giclee Print depends on the size of the reproduction which can range from the size of the original painting down to proportionally equal but smaller final image sizes. With most printings, giclee prints in the original size of the painting are considered Limited Edition.
